Energy Update Aries Season
Here we are at the start of Aries season and the start of the spiritual new year. The year 2023 has begun good and proper!
It is important when we start a new chapter that we honour the endings and release the completed stuff. Congratulate yourself for your wins and achievements, big and small. It is important to do this so you can whole-heartedly welcome the new. You may have already done this on January 1st and/or the Lunar New Year, but it’s a good time to do it again (three time’s a charm!).
Pisces season has been intense, and the water seasons (Pisces/Cancer/Scorpio) are always emotionally charged. Now we move into Aries Season, the element of which is fire and cardinal (initiating) in nature. It is the sign gets us moving and spurs us into action. Energy to think on for the coming Aeries astro season:

The energies of Aries are: the spark of an idea, the push to get moving, and the impetus to leave fear, doubt, and insecurities behind. How exciting! Keep in mind though, Aries runs hot - look out for hot-headedness, arguments and petty spats. Don’t buy into this stuff and pick your battles so you don’t run out of puff.

It is a perfect time to recommit to your dreams on the New Moon. If you did some manifesting earlier in the year, this is a good time to review/recommit to a manifesting process IF it feels aligned for you. If not, some of the activities below are great for the new Moon and Aries season in general.

Equinox 21st March - Coinciding with the new MOON, how scrumptious!
Whether you are ushering in Autumn or Spring, the energy is always so special for this time of year; the start of the Spiritual New Year. There is a big surge of energy coming into this time, and in particular pushing into the new Moon on the 21st of March. It feels very light, and full of promise and motivation.
Although in the Southern Hemisphere it is autumn and people are starting to hunker down, there is this delicious, forward-flowing energy, helping to inspire us and spur us into action. That slow, sludgy start to the calendar year is over. Jump into the slipstream and take some sparklers with you, as the fiery Aries energy is spurring us on.
If you have felt nervous or scared about starting something new, this is the time to act. The warrior goddesses will help you move forward with a courageous heart. Be your own hero. Get moving! I think of it as setting the fire and lighting it up to get the fire burning to sort you through the cooler months. If you are heading into Spring, I think of it like setting the fire burning to spark creation, inspire the flowers into bloom in you, and to get the fire of desire and connection going (to what/whoever it is you desire to connect with).
March 23rd: Pluto strolls (very slowly) into Aquarius…
In our lifetime (unless you happen to be 248 years old) we have never felt this! It takes Pluto 248 years to orbit the sun. It has been in Capricorn for about 15 years and will amble back into it again this year briefly, and then back into Aquarius until 2044.
Pluto uncovers anything it touches. It exposes untruths and is about power - who has it, who doesn’t, power games, and power plays. It is about personal power or lack thereof. It cycles through death and rebirth and if you can make friends with Pluto, life becomes easier.
Collectively, Pluto likes power and power shifts. Because of this, over the next 20 years don’t be surprised to see a revealing of truth in technology, and in particular the internet. We will see huge advances in technology for the greater good and also not so much good (remember power, and uncovering truths).
The dance between AI and technology, and soul energy/spirit (and lack of it), will be very highlighted and there will be bigger and bigger growth in both these areas. Humanitarian issues also will be at the forefront. The lack of humanity and humanitarian systems and lack of care for each other will be exposed. Power to the people, and the shadow of that power (power to the tyrants) - all of this will be highlighted. Social Media will get a revamp and there may be a new internet (part 2).
It feels deep and EPIC! I am both excited and a little terrified. Not really terrified, perhaps apprehensive is a better word.
Mostly this shift (Pluto transit) is not personal unless you have lots of Aquarius placements/planets/angles. (If you want to know your chart and have it explained, you can order one from me here)
If you have many placements in Capricorn, the reprieve is real and it is time to reap the benefits of your efforts.
If in your natal chart you have many planets in Aquarius… you may be feeling the pressure as Pluto starts a 20 year long transit into your signs (Sun/Rising/Moon). Pluto is one of the outer planets and is more influential over happenings and events in this big generational shift. However, when it transits one of your planets you can expect to feel the transformational energy of the dark Lord of the Underworld (in mythology). Too intense? Sorry, but remember transformation is basically growth, and when you come out of it it’s all roses and poppies (ask a Capricorn!).
Can you feel the shifts? Can you feel how different the energy in the world feels compared to 2019? It is completely freakin’ different and on an energetic level it looks soooooo different. You all LOOK different to me, people look different. So do the plants, trees, and animals. Your energy bodies are bigger, there are different colours in your auras. We are all getting upgraded whether we know it or not. And we are seeing with new eyes! Cheers to that.
