Venus in Leo

Venus has entered Leo, and she will be there for some time; going back and forth in the Lion energy. She will be here for 4 months (until October 10th) - and this is epic! As Venus moves at a faster pace than the Sun (about 225 days to circle), she will always be either in the same sign as your Sun or the sign just before or just after. 

Venus is what we desire; she shows us what we desire in the world for ourselves. She is all about beauty, art, money, and love; and she informs our relationships and values. She is what you desire and she is what you value. 

Venus in Leo is all about being dramatic, honest, flamboyant, and YOU taking centre in relationships. She will be passionate, courageous, and a little self-involved. We ALL could do with a little more self-involvement and the putting of ourselves first - that means YOU! Spiritually aware/conscious folks like us, tend to put our own needs after others because we are often more aware of what is going for others than they are. 

Venus won’t go retro until 22nd/23rd July, and when she does it could bring relationship endings. It is not a good time for new partnerships. Some astrologers say that if you start a new relationship in Venus retrograde it doesn’t stick, it doesn’t have staying power. It will be a relationship for a season or a reason, but not a lifetime.   

I spoke at the start of the year about Venus being a strong planet for 2023, a big influencer Astrologically speaking. Because she rules relationships… well, it’s the year for all things relationshippy, if you know you want I mean (if you don’t, you may soon!).

This means new ones, old ones, friendships, loves, and familial relationships, work-based, and community-based. Whatever is most important you, what you relate to and with, and with whom; is where Venus is actively influencing you. Giving you nudges, pushes, and shoves; and sometimes picking you up gently and carrying you forward.
